"Klaus", Animated feature film by SPA Studio.

Klaus! Everybody knows the teaser from few years ago.

I'm exploring different version of few scene of the movie, whose some are important key-scene. The acting is very subtle and the visual storytelling has to be perfect. All to be done in short schedule as always! A great chance to work with Sergio Pablos.

Here one of my favorite scene, the turning point of the story when the main character realizes something... No spoiler of course. It's a montage showing emotion evolution with only visual storytelling. Sergio were very demanding about this particular scene, and it took more than a take to get it right!

Enjoy the password protected SCENE HERE (give it time to load, thanks!).

On this scene, I had to explore a bit of drama between characters.

Enjoy the password protected SCENE HERE too (give it time to load, thanks!).

Scenes from Dream Defenders Origins.

I dared to move to Singapore to work on the first feature of a small studio. Singapore is not known for its animation industry and for good reasons! After two months, i left the company for work method disagreement. Nonetheless, i did put my heart in every scene I've created from scratch: with a treatment of few pages as a script, i wrote each scene I storyboarded, exploring the relationship between the main characters and their relatives, creating dialogue and background.

Here a short password protected SCENE  (give it time to load) happening at school.

And here an other password protected SCENE (give it time to load) during a dinner with parents and their uncle.

I also worked on simple teasers for the movie. This one has been edited by Anais Vincent:

All hail King Julien! Storyboard scene.

Julien is a character who just follow instant emotions, present moment always. Every characters on the show had their own personality of course.
Dreamworks let us free to stage the way we wanted, as long as it works! Over all, working on this demanding show was a really good experience, surrounded by very good talents.
It was a great chance to absorb some Dreamworks style.

2 years of production on KJ, hard to pick just one scene to show, so here a selection of panels from many episodes.
